All academia should know what’s P&T, so I will not elaborate further. This announcement has nothing to do with Information Trails research… but I supposed is a good “side effect” of the research?

The following news appeared in the April 8, 2010 edition of Saluki Times:

CARBONDALE, Ill. — The Southern Illinois University Board of Trustees, meeting in Edwardsville, today (April 8, 2010) ratified academic promotions and granted tenure for SIUC faculty members. Promotions take effect July 1, while tenure awards are effective Aug. 16.

Following is list of those promoted (grouped by rank, with academic units and places of residence, where available, noted). Those receiving tenure have a “t” in parentheses after their names.

(And about 4 paragraphs down, among the names listed for promotion from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor….)

P.S. I am so glad I don’t have to have a “mid-term crisis” like the guy shown in this movie.
